Mobile Information and SMS Messaging

LookByFare may offer SMS messaging programs that allow customers to receive text messages relating to their bookings, customer service interactions, account activity, travel-related information, and, where applicable, marketing and promotional offers.

SMS messaging programs may include separate customer care or booking-related communications and marketing or promotional communications. The type and frequency of messages you receive will depend on the messaging program in which you participate and the consent or authorization you have provided.

If you provide your mobile telephone number and opt in to receive marketing or promotional text messages, your mobile telephone number and related SMS consent information will be used to administer and deliver the applicable messaging program.

Message frequency may vary depending on the messaging program, your interactions with LookByFare, and your bookings or other activities.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and wireless plan.

You may opt out of marketing or promotional text messages at any time by replying STOP to the applicable message. For assistance with the SMS messaging program, reply HELP or contact LookByFare Customer Support.

Opting out of marketing or promotional text messages will not necessarily prevent LookByFare from sending customer care, booking-related, transactional, security, or other service-related communications that are necessary to provide services you have requested or that are otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that facilitate the operation and delivery of the applicable messaging program. Such service providers may use this information only as necessary to provide services to LookByFare and may not use SMS opt-in data or consent information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

LookByFare may retain SMS consent, opt-in, opt-out, and messaging preference information as necessary to administer its messaging programs, comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, maintain records of consent, and honor requests to stop receiving marketing or promotional messages. 

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. LookbyFare is not responsible for transmission delays or failures caused by wireless carriers or other factors beyond its control.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any specific individual for business purposes, without restriction where permissible under applicable laws and regulations.

Mobile Information and SMS Consent Data

Such information may be shared with service providers that facilitate the operation, administration, or delivery of LookByFare's SMS messaging programs. Those service providers may not use SMS opt-in data or consent information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

The existing disclosure provisions below remain applicable to personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, subject to the specific limitations applicable to mobile information and SMS consent data described above.

ACCESSING AND CORRECTING YOUR INFORMATION

If you have signed up for an account on our Website, you can review and change your personal information by logging into your account and visiting your account profile page. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We take the security and protection of your information very seriously. A consumer request must:
