"We're your wings" is the mantra of Cape Air - an airline which was born out of its sheer passion for aviation. The air carrier came into existence in the year 1989 and its headquarters are based at Barnstable in Massachusetts. With a fleet size of 94 aircraft, the US airline is able to carry about 400 flights on daily basis. Passengers can take along with them either a carry-out or a personal item and a gate checked bag in Cape Air flight as carry-on luggage. The gate checked bag must not exceed 45 linear inches whereas the personal item, which could be a small purse, laptop or briefcase, must have the linear dimensions at most 36 inches.
In regard to the Checked Baggage, passengers are allowed to bring one bag as per free baggage allowance and that too if traveling via the aircraft Cape Air C208A. The dimensions and weight of the bag must be less than 62 linear inches and 50 lbs respectively. Flying via other aircraft of the airline will require passengers to pay baggage fees as applicable.
