Hong Kong Airlines, founded in 2006, is a Hong Kong based air carrier. Headquartered in Tung Chung, Lantau Island, Hong Kong, its hub is at Hong Kong International Airport. The airline serves about 48 destinations (domestic and international) with a fleet of 44 aircraft. Hong Kong Airlines has a codeshare agreement with a number of other airlines such as China Eastern Airlines, Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines and Asiana Airlines. Passengers flying in the Business Class of Hong Kong Airlines flights are allowed to take along 2 pieces of carry-on baggage, while passengers flying in Economy Class are allowed to take 1 piece of baggage. The weight limit for each of the carry-on bags is 15 lb. The linear dimension of each of the bags should not exceed 45 inches. In addition to this, passengers are allowed to bring along a personal item as well.

On international routes, all passengers are allowed to take 2 pieces of checked baggage. For Economy Class passengers, the weight limit is 50 lb., while for Business Class passengers it's 70 lb.
